The lost foam casting production line for motor housings performs particularly well in the following application scenarios:

1. Series Products with Uniform Dimensions and Similar Structures

When producing series products with similar sizes and structures, such as motor housings, the foam patterns, sand boxes, and gating systems can be standardized. While retaining the flexibility to accommodate a certain range of product changes, the line achieves assembly-line efficiency, enabling rapid product changeover and large-scale output.

2. Clustered Mold Burying with Consistent Quality

We adopt a “pattern tree” clustered pouring technology, in which multiple foam patterns of casing parts are connected through a shared gating system to form a “pattern tree.” With a single mold burying operation, multiple castings are formed simultaneously. Under the same gating system, the castings exhibit high consistency in metallographic structure and mechanical properties. This approach reduces the proportion of gates and risers, improving process yield and molten metal utilization.

3. High Level of Automation and Fast Molding Speed

The production line is equipped with automated molding stations, enabling fully automated operations including pattern placement, sand filling, and vibration compaction. The molding cycle per flask can be reduced to as short as 3 minutes. An intelligent negative pressure control system automatically engages and maintains a constant optimal negative pressure, ensuring complete mold filling and smooth gas evacuation.

4. Compact Production Rhythm and Lean Process Design

The entire line adopts a linear or circular layout, with precisely calculated and balanced takt times at each station. Seamless process integration and compact automatic circulation enable continuous, high-efficiency, 24/7 production.
